Ifêdé Sylvain Djagbo has been Director of Job Booster Benin since October 2023. After preparing the start-up of the company as a consultant, he now manages the company so that it becomes a driving force for positive change in Benin. Sylvain has a wide range of skills in the field of economic and social development.
Sylvain explains that he grew up in a modest family in Benin: "When I was young, I experienced famine and rejection. From an early age, I had to face up to a difficult economic reality, which forced me to undertake subsistence activities to finance my studies. Instead of weakening me, these difficulties have strengthened my resolve to continue my studies at university. "
Economic challenges
Sylvain obtained two degrees before starting his career as an economist. As a result, he has acquired a thorough understanding of the economic challenges facing Benin and Africa in general. "Before joining Job Booster Social Enterprise, I had the opportunity to work as an independent consultant with several companies. In 2019, I set up my own firm 'Expertise économique et recherche-action pour le développement durable (ECORAD)'. As a consultant, my role was to provide my expertise in in-depth economic analysis and strategic advice to various organisations, but also to support organisations in carrying out assignments. This enabled me to hone my project management skills and develop a pragmatic approach to solving complex challenges.

Since October 2023, Ifêdé Sylvain Djagbo has been the director of Job Booster Benin. After preparing the start up of the enterprise as a consultant, he is now leading the enterprise to be a driving force for positive change in Benin. Sylvain is recognized for his diversified skills in the field of economic and social development.
Sylvain explains how he grew up in a humble and modest family in Benin: "I experienced starvation and rejection in my youth. From a young age, I had to face the reality of a difficult economic, which led me to start entrepreneurial activities in order to finance my studies. Those challenges strengthened my commitment to pursue my academic dreams."

This allowed me to refine my project management skills and develop a pragmatic approach to solving complex challenges."

Sylvain comments on the fact that he is working in a small business in Benin: "I've got a lot of time and energy in my job. At a young age I was confronted with a very difficult economic reality, which meant that I had to think about many different activities in order to finance my studies.
