Aplahouรฉ, the capital of the Couffo department, is celebrating an important milestone in the empowerment of its women.

After intensive training culminating in the practice of ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ— ๐š๐ฎ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ซ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“, 20 women entrepreneurs received their certificates, marking the end of their apprenticeship in modern agri-food processing techniques.

This initiative was conceived and developed by Job Booster BeninThe aim is to build the economic capacity of local women by giving them the skills they need to modernise the processing of local agricultural produce, particularly fruit.

Participants learned effective processing techniques, strict food hygiene methods and marketing strategies to ensure their products are competitive on the market.

During the training course, the women explored the processing of several local fruits, including Baobao, tamarind, soya...

In their speeches, the officials praised the commitment of the women and the importance of this training for their autonomy and the development of the community.

"This training is more than just a piece of paper," said one of the speakers.

This initiative is a clear example of how targeted training can transform lives and communities. It paves the way for other similar projects and reinforces the place of women as key players in the economic development of Aplahouรฉ.
