On Wednesday 16 July 2024, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the UAC Startup Valley business incubator, Job Booster Benin, represented by its Director, ๐. ๐๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ฬ๐๐ฬ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, as a partner and sponsor, has responded to contribute to the success of the said event.
At the beginning of his speech, the Director presented Job Booster Benin, a subsidiary of ๐๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐, based in the Netherlands, the company he has the distinguished honour of leading since September 2023. He placed particular emphasis on his company's mission and objectives, explaining the reasons for the partnership signed with ๐ ๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ ๐ฅ'๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฬ ๐'๐๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ-๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฏ๐ข and the strategic areas on which the two institutions intend to work to boost economic growth and development in Benin, through the promotion of entrepreneurship and youth employment.
During the question and answer session with the panellists, the Director of Job Booster Benin took the opportunity to make a plea to the Government to set up a special status for social enterprises, which are doing tremendous work for grassroots development.
In Benin, social enterprises do not have a special status allowing them to be exempt from certain tax burdens. As a result, they are subject to taxes, which in turn prevent them from achieving the expected results. He also used the same microphone to give some advice to young people, especially students. For him, young people should not wait for a million dollars to start a business...
It was also an opportunity for the Director of Job Booster Benin to find out more about the values and potential of Mr ๐๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ฬ๐ง๐ฬ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ ๐ฅ'๐๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ฬ๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฒ๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐๐).
For him, the current CEO of ADPME is truly a visionary, a man who has fully understood the challenges facing businesses and young people, and he has some very fine solutions for curbing the problems inhibiting the growth of SMEs in Benin. I sincerely hope that the many fine proposals and appropriate solutions he spoke of at this event will be taken into account by Benin's decision-making authorities.
As for the Executive Director of the UAC Foundation, ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ค๐ข ๐๐๐๐๐๐, he has a good vision for the development of businesses in Benin. He is a very humble man who fights for the follow-up of young companies and the growth of the activities of the incubates of Startup Valley, FUAC's flagship programme.
