We're delighted to announce our new partnership with Garage Kuabo!
On 16 August 2024, we signed a strategic partnership agreement with Garage Kuabo to combine our efforts to promote the socio-professional integration of disadvantaged young people in Benin, by offering them quality training and personalised support aimed at strengthening their technical and entrepreneurial skills while preparing them to enter the job market effectively.
In other words, through this agreement, JBSE-BENIN and GARAGE KUABO intend to work towards pooling resources, experience and skills with a view to contributing to the social transformation and socio-professional integration of disadvantaged young people, for training, capacity building and the implementation of innovative and successful entrepreneurial initiatives for the benefit of disadvantaged young people, in particular for those in training or completing training in car mechanics at Garage Kuabo.
The aim is to pool the efforts of both parties in order to help reduce youth unemployment in Benin, and to provide the Beninese ecosystem with a new breed of mechanics who are professional, committed, hard-working, dedicated, honest and imbued with values and skills that will help them succeed and flourish.
This partnership is based on the following strategic priorities:

- ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฬ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฌ: Offering specific training in French, IT and mathematics to apprentices to make them more competitive on the market.
- ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฬ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ : To develop in learners the professional skills and practices required to seize opportunities and familiarise them with the realities of the world of work with a view to accelerating the pace of job creation and wealth. Learners will also receive courses in business management, management, financial management, entrepreneurial leadership, marketing strategies and customer loyalty;
- ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ: Set up a mentoring system to support young people in their career path, during and after their training at Garage Kuabo, with prior authorisation and ongoing monitoring by Garage Kuabo managers.

Under this agreement, the two parties will work together to identify and develop joint projects and programmes aimed at improving the technical training of young people, their skills and their socio-professional integration. These projects will take into account the post-training follow-up of learners in order to evaluate and reinforce them if necessary.
