A delegation of leading Dutch companies, representing various key sectors of the economy, officially kicked off an economic and trade mission to Benin today, 09 September 2025.<\/p>\n
The aim of this mission is to explore new opportunities for partnership, investment and trade between the Netherlands and Benin.
\nThis initiative, organised in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the relevant Beninese authorities, reflects the desire of the two nations to strengthen their economic ties.<\/p>\n
Benin, with its stable economic growth and ambitious structural reforms, is increasingly seen as a major gateway to the West African market.<\/p>\n
The delegation, made up of around thirty companies specialising in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, port infrastructure and logistics, and water management, will be meeting with Beninese counterparts, government representatives and private sector players.
\nB2B (business-to-business) meetings, visits to industrial sites and themed seminars are on the programme to facilitate exchanges and bring projects to fruition.<\/p>\n
H.E.M. Joris Jurri\u00ebns<\/a>The Dutch Ambassador to Benin, who headed the delegation, underlined the importance of this mission: \"Benin offers a promising business environment. We are convinced that our expertise and technologies, particularly in intelligent agriculture and water management, can make a significant contribution to the country's sustainable development. We look forward to building mutually beneficial partnerships.<\/p>\n The mission will take place over several days (09 to 11 September 2025) and should lead to the signing of several framework agreements and memorandums of understanding, laying the foundations for solid and lasting future collaborations.<\/p>\n Job Booster Benin<\/a>a social enterprise and subsidiary of a Dutch company, is ready to support these new Dutch companies as they penetrate the Beninese ecosystem and achieve their objectives.
