Yesterday, 1 May 2025, International Labour Day, the headquarters of Job Booster Benin was alive with energy. Far from the traditional parades, it was a gathering of young people, who came in large numbers, that marked this date.

The official launch of the long-awaited book: "๐‚๐ก๐จฬ‚๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐ž๐ญ ๐„๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐๐ž ๐’๐จ๐ข", written by personal and professional development consultant Judicaรซl Sรจgnon SANOU.
From the early hours of the afternoon, young people flocked to Job Booster Benin, filling the hall and outdoor areas.

Their massive attendance showed a deep interest in the theme addressed by the book. Unemployment, a pervasive reality for many of Benin's young people, is analysed here from a new angle: its direct impact on self-esteem.

The atmosphere was both studious and convivial. Participants had the opportunity to listen to the inspiring words of the Director of Job Booster Bรฉnin, Sylvain Ifรชdรฉ DJAGBO, the book's preface, and its author, Judicaรซl Sรจgnon SANOU, who respectfully made the link between the current situation of young people and the content of the book, and shared his motivation for writing this essential book. The author of the book stressed the importance of maintaining solid self-esteem in the face of the challenges of unemployment, and offered some food for thought and concrete tools for achieving this.

"This book is a cry from the heart and an outstretched hand to all those talented young people who sometimes feel invisible because of the lack of opportunities," said Mr Segnon to thunderous applause from the audience.
"It is crucial to understand that unemployment does not define our value", according to the speakers' summary.

More than just a presentation, the event was a genuine space for exchange and inspiration. Question-and-answer sessions allowed young people to interact directly with the author and the panelists, sharing their experiences and concerns. Copies of the book, fresh off the press, were signed, creating a special bond between the author and his readers.

The presence of so many young people on this symbolic Labour Day sends out a strong message: Benin's young people are aware of the issues surrounding employment and their psychological well-being. They are proactive in seeking solutions and eager to learn how to overcome the obstacles.

The launch of this book at the headquarters of Job Booster Benin will undoubtedly remain a highlight of this International Day of Work 2025, illustrating the commitment of young people to their future and the relevance of initiatives such as that of Judicaรซl SANOU and Job Booster Benin.
